Qatar International Islamic bank is the first bank in Qatar to receive National Information Assurance (NIA) Certificate compliance

The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) announced that Qatar International Islamic bank has successfully completed its compliance roadmap for the National Information Assurance (NIA) Standard by obtaining the NIA Certificate of Compliance, making QIIB the first bank in the State of Qatar to achieve this milestone. The scope covers all of QIIB’s operations and business processes. The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) emphasized the importance of compliance with the National Information Assurance (NIA) Standard as it contributes to the protection of national information assets and strengthens the cybersecurity posture across sectors. NCSA looks forward to other banks and financial institutions, government entities and organizations within critical sectors obtaining the National Information Assurance (NIA) Certification, which will fundamentally enhance and contribute to raising the level of cyber resilience across the nation.
