The President of the National Cyber Security Agency awards partners and entities

On Sunday, January 22,2023  HE Engineer Abdulrahman Al Farahid Al Malki- President of the National Cyber Security Agency awarded entities and partners who worked with the agency during the year 2022 for their efforts and dedication.

In this regard, H.E Engineer Al Malki said: “The Agency since the very beginning of its establishment focused on achieving its goals one after the other through intensified efforts between the agency and its partners from different sectors”. He added that hard work and dedication were the basis of the agency’s collaboration with its partners to fulfil the agency’s mission in securing the nation’s cyber space. H.E added that during FIFA World Cup- Qatar 2022, the agency witnessed exceptional work and great efforts from its employees and partners as they developed accurate and rapid plans and mechanisms to confront any danger facing various entities during FIFA World Cup 2022, including sports facilities and critical entities.

Additionally, H.E pointed out that FIFA World Cup - Qatar 2022 was an exceptional championship. Emphasizing the Agency’s ability to achieve its ultimate goal which was the protection of the nation’s cyber space before, during and after the championship.

Furthermore, His Excellency- the President of the National Cyber Security Agency extended his thanks and appreciation to the various entities and partners for their continuous efforts and cooperation with the Agency. In addition, H.E awarded the companies with the Agency’s trophies and appreciation certificates. The companies were: EY, GBM, EBM, KBMG, Palantir, Malomatia, AlMannai, Mandiant, Deloitte and Microsoft.

Following the awarding ceremony, representatives of these companies expressed their thanks to His Excellency for all the efforts in protecting the nation’s cyber space. They also expressed their full commitment to support the State of Qatar in securing its cyber space.
