NCSA organizes an awareness workshop in collaboration with Arab Anti-Corruption Hackathon

On Sunday August 20,2023, The National Cyber Security Agency organized an awareness workshop in collaboration with Arab Anti-Corruption Hackathon. In this regards, Head of National Cyber Initiatives Assurance Department at NCSA- Mohammed Al Mannai stressed on the importance of supporting Administrative Control and Transparency Authority in launching the Arab youth Hackathon to combat corruption in partnership with a group of Arab entities concerned with the youth sector for encouraging youths to collaborate in anti- corruption efforts, improve employment opportunities and promote a culture of innovation and technology. He added “we conducted a training workshop entitled “Cyber Security Frameworks” which consisted of two parts: the first part presents the most important cyber security frameworks and explains the reasons for entities to follow them while the second part highlights Qatar’s framework for cyber security which was issued in 2018 for national entities to build high level cyber capabilities and raise the level of national cyber security. The participation of the National Cyber Security Agency in the Arab Youth Anti-Corruption Hackathon comes within the framework of the Agency’s keenness to participate and support national initiatives, partnerships, programs and projects to strengthen the role of youths, motivate them to share their ideas and offer solutions and proposals that serve their reality today as well as offering technical solutions to serve communities facing multiple challenges.
