The National Cyber Security Agency participates in the Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building

His Excellency, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki, President of the National Cyber Security Agency, headed the Agency’s delegation participating in the Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building (GC3B), held in Geneva, Switzerland. His Excellency also took part in a closed high level ministerial session titled “Building Cyber Capacity in Africa- The Global South”, hosted by the World Economic Forum. During a panel discussion titled “Technology Options for Cyber Incident Response Management” organized by the Lithuanian NRD and The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), The National Cyber Security Agency, emphasized disparities in the capabilities of cyber incident response teams, identifying three key factors contributing to these differences: resources, skills and talents. The Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building aims to enhance international cooperation in cyber capacity development. It brings together participants from various organizations and sectors to coordinate strategies and share best practices and resources to help countries strengthen their digital resilience.
