The National Cyber Security Agency Announces the Launch of the Cybersecurity Summer Bootcamp 2024

The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has announced the launch of the Cybersecurity Summer Bootcamp 2024, scheduled from July 21 to August 15. This initiative aims to elevate young people's awareness of cybersecurity and digital safety concepts, empowering them to navigate the internet and modern technology safely and effectively. The bootcamp is part of NCSA's broader efforts to enhance cyber capabilities and foster social responsibility among the youth. The camp targets up to 200 students aged 13 to 17, running for 20 days with sessions lasting 5 hours each day. The NCSA will deliver a mix of theoretical and practical training in both Arabic and English. The camp's activities include theoretical lectures, intensive practical exercises, visual presentations, and comprehensive training packages. Participants will also receive printed brochures, engage in interactive games and information competitions, and benefit from a cybersecurity consulting corner. Hands-on activities such as cybersecurity penetration testing, an open entertainment day, discussions of graduation projects, and field visits are also part of the program. Upon completion, graduates will receive an accredited certificate recognizing their qualifications. Admission to the camp requires students to be enrolled in a public or private school in Qatar, pass a basic test on cybersecurity principles, and commit fully to participating in all camp activities.
